SAO JOAQUIM COUNTRYWIDE PARK

The park is while in the Atlantic Forest biome. It covers an area of forty eight,300 hectares (119,000 acres). It had been recognized by decree on 6 July 1961, and is administered by the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation.
